A different kind of wine recommendation

Oberraindlhof in the Schnalstal Valley is looking for its match in regards to wine. Senior chef Helmuth and Junior Chef Benjamin are both certified sommeliers, and advise guests with great dedication. You won’t be getting just the usual „Wikipedia“ knowledge about the wines; you’ll hear numerous stories and anecdotes from Helmuth is his special way of telling them ... and every so often our Director Elisabeth throws in her professional opinion:-)

Abundantly stocked wine cellar

Whether wine expert or absolute beginner – in Oberraindlhof the right beverage is waiting for you. The wine cellar’s focus is on selected wines from South Tyrol, along with international wines from Italy, France, Austria or Germany. And naturally our two sommeliers have a few rarities and insider tips in their chamber of secrets. There is also a large selection of South Tyrolean quality wines available by the glass.

Not simply a wine glass or a decanter

All our wines are served authentically in Riedel glasses. Every wine has the perfect partner in its individual hand-blown glass. Not to mention, of course, the elegant carafes made by glass blowers in North Tyrol. Our service team is adept in the use of these 25 carafes. At Oberraindlhof, wine is not just consumed, it’s celebrated. A culture unique to the Schnalstal Valley.
