Winery
The family Haas has been producing estate wines since 1880, the year in which the present- day winery was established. A family-run estate, it was handed down through the generations to the first-born son Franz Haas. Through the years and the constant commitment of its owners and employees, this wine making estate has evolved into today`s innovative winery. Franz Haas uses 50 hectares of wineyards for the production of the wines.

Vineyards
The vineyards are all located in the municipalities of Montagna and Egna, on the slopes of the Cislon mountain. The grapes grow at elevations that range from 240 and 800 meters above sea level, with a great variety of microclimates and soil composition.
