Hiking paradise in the Senales Valley and Merano Region
Hiking holiday in the senales valley - south tyrol
South Tyrol's biggest Nature Park comprises the entire Tessa Group - a vast alpine mountain landscape between the Senales Valley (west) and the Passiria Valley (east). These protected areas ensure our landscape and nature are preserved. Hiking in this unspoiled mountain world is of course a unique adventure.
The Val di Fosse Valley amidst the Tessa Group Nature Park is one of the areas with the most game in South Tyrol. Here you count more chamois and ibex than there are inhabitants in the entire Senales Valley.
The probably most interesting and most beautiful hiking path in the Alpine region is the Merano Alpine Path. This alpine path is accessible almost all year and extends over a distance of 100 km. It takes between 4 and 6 days to hike the entire route. This hike can however be started or interrupted at different spots.
