The Schnalstal Valley, due to its being so narrow, is not a classic mountain bike region for all. For very fit mountain bikers, however, there are several very attractive MTB tours that are scenically interesting with steep ascents, single tracks at 3,000 m and crazy downhill rides. The neighbouring Venosta Valley is better known as a mountain biking region, and offers tours of all degrees of difficulty. For pleasant cycling without much change in elevation, the Venosta Valley Cycle Path at the entrance to the Schnalstal Valley is just the right choice.

The bikemobil Card is a combination ticket for bus, rail, and rental bike. It can be used in all of South Tyrol to Müstair (CH). It can be purchased for 1,3, or 7 days of use. The card can be used, without limit, in all public transportation in South Tyrol for one, three, or seven consecutive days. Additionally, the use of a rental bike is possible on one selected day of your choosing.
