Ötzi Rope Park A fun and exciting high rope course

This newly created rope course park, situated in a beautiful swath of forest directly beyond the Vernago Lake Reservoir in the Schnalstal Valley, is a challenge for all ages. You can develop balance and a head for heights on a variety of hanging bridges, ropes, swings, tree trunks, and approx. 150 platforms (from 2 to 30 metres high) over 11 courses. The two 50-metre-high „Flying Foxes“ and the „Giant Swing“ (45 metres in diameter) are absolute highlights. Dexterity is key here, along with a little courage and determination.

For younger children there’s the „Ötzi Express“ – here the little ones can safely try out their first rock climbs..

Safety is key!

The entire rope park is built to the latest standards in safety.

Each participant is instructed by trained staff before undertaking each course. Management of the available safety equipment is illustrated, as are important rules of conduct on the entire grounds.
The high rope course in the upper Schnalstal Valley is open from early May until early November.
