Winter Holiday in Schnalstal Valley Skiing and winter fun on the Schnalstal Valley Glacier

The skiing area on the Schnalstal Valley Glacier offers 42 kilometres of prepared slopes and pure ski fun for winter sports enthusiasts and families, all year round. 18 different slopes of varying degrees of difficulty, a tobogganing hill and 2 Nordic ski tracks make the ski region a special experience. Those who come to ski will certainly get their money's worth – no overcrowded slopes, no waiting for lifts and no mass tourism. Just this guarantee: there will be snow. That's the reason Marcel Hirscher and his elite competitive skiers train on the Schnalstal Valley Glacier. The cable car whisks you up to 3,212 metres, where you can enjoy a unique panorama view over the Alps. The Schnalstal Valley Glacier is a true gem. The views are incomparable in South Tyrol and skiers love the abundance of sunshine. The numerous rustic mountain huts and inns invite one to warm up, have a bite to eat and enjoy the ambience.

Currently: All Lazaun slopes and the Glockenlift open on November 25. The renovation work on the glacier lift is proceeding according to plan and the new cable cars are expected to open on 23.12.2023. Construction work will then continue in April - which is why the ski area will close on 7.04.2024.

The new Lazaun cable car cuts riding times significantly and offers a comfortable ascent in the gondolas.

You'll find more information about lifts and prices here.
