The Schnalstal Valley has lovely hiking and sunny walking paths in winter too. Peaceful, well-maintained winter hiking paths lead through snowy woods, for example the path to the cosy Lazaunhütte mountain hut. If you'd like you can toboggan from there back down into the valley. In between one can carry in the pleasant inns and taverns, which are open all year. There you can warm up and recharge over pastry and mulled wine.
