SummerCard ...more service in your holidays

So that you can enjoy your vacation in the vacation region Schnalstal Valley even more, there is the SummerCard with great additional services. It is valid from July 3 to September 18, 2022.

The price is €29.90 for adults (SummerCard) and €15.00 for children up to their 16th birthday (SummerCard Junior), children up to 6 years are free.

The SummerCard is obtainable at our Hotel reception or in the tourist office. In many Oberraindlhof-packages the Summercard is free. 


The SummerCard includes the following services:

Lazaun cable car

One free ride (up and down) with the Lazaun cable car.
Use the ride with the Lazaun cable car for an easy hike or a stop at the Lazaun mountain hut and enjoy a fantastic view of the Grawand summit (3,251 m) and the village of Maso Corto with the very special alpine flora and fauna of the Lazaun high plateau.
If you are looking for more entertainment, you can rent e-mountain bikes or mountain carts at Maso Corto, which will ensure an action-packed descent.

Opening hours: from the 1st July 2022 daily from 10.00 a.m. to 16.30 p.m.
Holders of the SummerCard can use the parking area at Maso Corto/Kurzras free of charge

NEW 2022: Choose between one uphill & downhill ride or two uphill rides!
Optional is a single ride with the smart mountaincarts at Maso Corto. The rental service at the mountain station of the Lazaun Cable Car is open every thuesday, thursday, saturday and sunday (and daily from 13th to 28th august) from 10.00am to 4pm.

Note: the section of the Lazauncard must be redeemed at the cash desk of the Schnalstaler Gletscherbahn!


Archeoparc - Ötzi Archery - Mountaincarts


Choose between an entry to the museum Archeoparc OR an entry to the Ötzi archery course at the Moarhof farm at Monte S. Caterina OR a single ride with the mountain carts at Maso Corto.

The Archeoparc is an archaeological open-air museum with a visitor center at Madonna di Senales in Schnalstal Valley. The story of how and where Ötzi lived 5,300 years ago and of how he was discovered in 1991 on the Schnalstal Glacier will be related inside and outside. Explore the permanent exhibition, the reconstructed building, the dugout bridge and join in all the activities and presentations in the open-air area.
Opening hours: from 3rd July 2022 from Sunday to Thursday from 10.00 a.m. to 5.00 p. m.

On the more than 4 km long 3D archery course of Valentin Müller you go hunting with arrow and bow. Immerse yourself in these millennia-old techniques that already ensured the survival of our ancestors. The desired ticket for the small course can be redeemed directly at the Moarhof farm.

In the summer months, the Sportservice Erwin Stricker offers mountain cart rental. These can be rented at the mountain station of the Lazaun cable car. The desired optional ticket can be redeemed when it is issued at the Lazaun mountain station. The carts can be returned at the Lazaun valley station.
Opening hours: from the 1st July 2022 every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday & Sunday from 10.00 a. m. to 4.30 p. m.

With the SummerCard, travel on the public SAD bus is free throughout the valley, providing easy access to all the villages: Monte S. Caterina, Certosa, Raindl, Madonna di Senales, Vernago, Maso Corto and also the neigbor village Naturno.


cable car Unterstell

The Alta Via di Merano is one of the most beautiful hiking trails in the entire Alpine region, along the Gruppo di Tessa Nature Park, a fascinating natural and cultural landscape. You can easily walk a part from Monte S. Caterina along the trail no. 24. passing old farms to the Unterstell Cable Car.
The SummerCard is valid for a single one-way ticket of the cable car.
Directly at the valley station of the cable car is the Naturno/Compaccio bus stop, from there you can take the return journey on the public bus to Schnalstal Valley. The hike is possible also from Unterstell to Monte S. Caterina.
Opening hours: daily from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
