Anton, the hotel’s proprietor, quite literally wrote history here. When distinguished city guests were expected, he would stow away his pen and paper, transforming the space into a cosy guest room for ‘summer visitors’, complete with enchanting mountain panorama. It’s still the same today. Abundant aged wood and native Val Senales stone imbue my rustic rooms into a wonderful retreat.
*Because the old wood is ‘alive’ and the historic rooms are a little sensitive to noise, we recommend that very light sleepers enjoy the contemporary four-star comfort of the new building.*
